Obituary of Gloria Ventura

Gloria M. Ventura Age 87. Passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at Joliet Area Community Hospice home. Born on January 4, 1929 to the late Frank P. and Mary (nee Longhini) Ventura. A graduate of Lockport Township High School. Retired from Silver Cross Hospital as a housekeeper with over 30 years of service. A member of the American Italian Club and Lockport Moose. Survived by her sister, Mary T. (late Frank) Grobarcik; five nieces, Carol (Ronald) Aeschliman, Elizabeth (Fred) Nahas, Janice (George) Ventura, Lora (Bob) Faloto and Mary Lee (Carmen) Mormino; one nephew, James (Karen) Grobarcik; a sister-in-law, Karen Ventura; and many great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Joseph A. Ventura. Funeral Services for Gloria M. Ventura will be held Monday, February 29, 2016 at 9:15 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet to St. Mary Nativity for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Lockport.
