Obituary of Donald Walters

Donald Ray Walters Age 43, of Morris, IL, passed away Friday, February 26, 2016. Born to Raymond and Jane Walters on February 22, 1973 in Joliet, IL. Don grew up the youngest of five and attended Morris Community High School. He worked at R&S Distributing in Minooka, IL where he rebuilt turbos. Don enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, watching movies, playing video games and listening to music. He will be remembered for his kindness, quick wit, loyalty, sarcasm, awkwardness and sense of humor. Surviving are his four brothers, Rick (Joy), Steve (Kathy), Larry (Lynn) and Ron Walters; three nieces and four nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Jane Walters. "If I had a shotgun, know what I'd do? I'd point that straight at the sky and shoot heaven on down for you. Oh well, the bars are always open, and the time is always right, and if God's good word goes unspoken, well the music goes all night."- Sublime, Don't Push Memorial services for Donald Ray Walters will be Friday, March 4, 2016 at 7 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 1201 W. Route 6 (at Deerpath Drive) Morris. As it was Don's request, cremation rites have been accorded. In keeping with Don's loving and generous spirit, it was decided to donate life so that others may live. All friends and relatives are invited to attend a Celebration of Life Friday at 4 p.m. until time of services at 7 p.m. Casual attire is requested.
