Obituary of William Coote

William Joseph "Bill" Coote, age 52, of Joliet, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, March 1, 2016. Born July 17, 1963 in Joliet, he was the son of Arthur W. and Lynnette A. (Serena) Coote, Sr. He attended Joliet West High School, and later served proudly with the United States Marine Corps. He worked as a contractor and especially enjoyed helping in the rebuilding process following Hurricane Katrina. Bill will remembered as a caring and compassionate person who was a devoted son, father, brother, and uncle. His family is grateful for taking such wonderful care of his mother. He could be counted on to help anyone in need. He will be greatly missed. Because he knew the Lord, he is in God's hands now. Surviving are his beloved mother, Lynnette Coote; his loving daughter, Amy Stanak of Nashville, TN; his sister, Sherryl Coote of Joliet; two brothers, Arthur W. Coote, Jr. and Robert Coote, both of Joliet: a nephew Ryan; and a niece, Hallie. He was preceded by his father, Arthur W. Coote, Sr. in 1989. A Memorial Service for William Coote will be held at a later date and interment will be in Elmhurst Cemetery.
