Phyllis, Dave, Chris, Mara, Bryan and families - From all the Malinowski family, our hearts and prayers are with you. I just started a new job in Prairie du Chien a couple months ago, and I remembered how Bill & Phyllis loved to come up here, and I was hoping we could get together for a visit, and then Mom called with the terrible news. I'd always looked up to Uncle Bill; every visit was too short! He always had great advice and great stories. He was intensely brilliant, funny, and completely devoted to family, in word, and deed. I'm sorry I can't make it down there now. Hopefully soon. God Bless, Bill Jr.

What wonderful memories I have of Bill as we grew up together at St. Raymond School! Bill was a big part of the reason that going to school was such fun. He had a way of getting all of us, his classmates, to laugh and be happy together. Thank you, Bill. You, Phyllis and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Over the years I have thought so many times about the summer between sophmore and junior year at Joliet Cathoilc. Bill, Ron, and I where in the basement of the Scholtes' home. There were loss bricks, so we decided to see if anything was behind the wall. Much to our surprise there were several sealed bottles. They were cover in dust, which means they were there for several years. We decided t open one and to our surprise it contained HARD CIDER. We decided to taste it and is tasted just great.
So after that great discovery, we continued to sample the great taste. Bill had a 1948 or 49 two door Ford. We would get in the car and head to the strip mines down to Willmington, where my family belonged to a club. Of course in the car was a bottle or two of hard cider. We would spend the day and evening swimming and drinking our great find. Needless, to say by the end of the summer, all the bottles were gone. Consumed by three or four boys, who I am sure that they were the coolest guys in town.
It has always been one of the many memories of my time with Bill during our years at JCHS. Bill will always be in a special place in my heart. He is in a good place now and will bring his special smile and laugh to the souls in heaven. Please know that Phyllis and the family that Bill and you will be in my prayers and thoughts. Thanks, Bill for being my friend and bringing me great memories and joy.

Bill will be so missed here, but he must be really needed in heaven. I know his brothers will be glad to see him, unless they need him to get them out of trouble! Always sharing a smile, I can't believe he's gone. My heartfelt prayers go to his wife, my Aunt Phyllis, and my cousins and there families.
