Obituary of William Vincent

William R. Vincent, Jr. William R. Vincent, Jr., age 61, of Duluth, GA, and formerly of Joliet and Charlotte, NC, passed away peacefully, Friday, March 11, 2016 with his loving family at his side. Bill was born July 11, 1954 in Bloomington, IL and proudly served with the United States Marine Corps. He was the owner and operator of Trademark Sports Cards, Charlotte, NC. He loved baseball and enjoyed playing the sport throughout his life. He was also an avid Chicago Cubs fan. He was a devout member of Living Faith Lutheran Church in Cummings, GA. Surviving are his beloved wife of 32 years, Elaine E. (nee Sabey) Vincent of Duluth, GA; one son, Charles Vincent of Charlotte, NC; his mother, Joan (nee Hale) Vincent and sister, Jovy Vincent, both of Joliet; and blessed with numerous nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Sarah Vincent (2007); his father, William R. Vincent (2013); and two brothers, Michael and Darryl Vincent. Visitation for William R. Vincent, Jr., will be held Wednesday, March 16, 2016 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet, where a funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Burial in East Lawn Memorial Gardens, Bloomington, will be private.
