Obituary of Alexis Barga

Alexis Latrice Barga "Lexi" Age 17. At rest Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice home. Born in Joliet to L.J. Barga and Jennifer (nee Skinner) McGovern. Lexi was a very energetic young lady. She loved doing hair, nails and some would refer to her as being a self-proclaimed cosmetologist. A very caring person who loved her family and an avid Chicago Fire fan. Surviving are her mother, Jennifer (William) McGovern of Morris; father, L.J. Barga of Joliet; siblings, Jazmen Barga, L.J. Barga Jr. and Elealeh Barga; maternal grandparents, Rose (Phil) Simpson of Joliet and Richard (Cindy) Skinner of Montgomery; paternal great-grandmother, Bobbie Campbell of Alabama; and several loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceded by paternal grandparents, Mary Robinson and Jimmy Williamson; and one sister, Angelica Coronado. Funeral Services for Lexi will be held Monday, March 28, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. Memorials in her name to the Ronald McDonald House, 211 E. Grand Avenue Chicago, IL 60611.
