Obituary of James Heinz

JAMES DONALD HEINZ Age 84, at rest March 28, 2016 at Joliet Community Hospice surrounded by his loving family. Born January 8, 1932 in Hinsdale, IL to Paul and Mabel (nee Jenson). Veteran of the Korean War proudly serving his country in the United States Air Force. Jim retired in 1994 to finish building their second home in Missouri. He also enjoyed woodworking, boating and rebuilding car engines. Preceded in death by his parents; sister, Doris Wasko and brother Robert Heinz. Survived by his loving wife of 65 years Lula M. (nee Choate); three children, James Donald Jr. (Janice), Ken Heinz, and Sandy (Mike) Heraty; grandchildren, Ken (Nicole), Jessi (Rob) Wunder, Ryan (Erin) Heraty, Erin Heraty and Maggie Heraty; great-grandfather of Dominic, Kale and Cora Heinz. Visitation for James Donald Heinz will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Roads, Joliet, IL from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:30 p.m. with full military honors under the auspices of the United States Air Force.
