Denis was my first boss. The job was through Joliet Central's work program. I will always remember how patient he was with me. I was this skinny, clumsy kid and my driving skills were pretty bad. I remember damaging the company van once and he just brushed it off saying it could have been worse. He may not have remember me but I sure will always remember him.
It was my pleasure to have known him.

I always looked forward to doing my company errands downtown Joliet and walking to Vardal's because of the people I would deal with there. Denis and Denise were fun, helpful and always pleasant. No matter what last minute crush was happening, I was always special, not a customer, but a friend. Thinking of you, Denise and Dina, and your extended family in this sad time.

I'll never forget of how many shiny nickles Uncle Denis would pull out of my ear. Such a kind heart and soul that he opened to all. And he never ran out of nickles.
Our Warmest Thoughts and Regards,
George and Dawn Winke

Dina and family: I am so sorry to hear about his passing. He was a wonderful man and I am thankful to have been able to meet him as a teen and watch Dina share pics of him over the years. Hugs to everyone and prayers for strength as you go through this time.
