Obituary of Weston Johnson

Weston Donald Johnson, age 27, of Washington State, went to be with his Lord on March 22, 2016. He was born December 5, 1988 in Joliet, IL, to Ramona Weston and Brad Johnson. Weston graduated from Minooka High School in 2007, and then went on to join the US Navy as a Submariner in 2009. He was married to Miranda Nicole on July 18, 2013. Weston enjoyed his Naval career, traveled the world, and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leonard and Irene Weston and Donald and Carol Johnson; and one aunt. Weston is survived by his wife, Miranda Nicole Johnson; his mother, Ramona Weston (Kenneth Horvat); two brothers, Seth Swanson and Cort Swanson of Minooka, IL; his father, Brad (Dixie) Johnson of Crest Hill, IL; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and naval family. His three furry babies, Pono, Peanut and Shy Boy also survive. Services for Weston will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 8, 2016 at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL. Military honors will be accorded by the United States Navy and the Abraham Lincoln National cemetery Memorial Squad.
