Obituary of Robert Persicketti

Robert Joseph Persicketti Age 71, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2016 at Joliet Area Community Hospice with his family by his side. Retired 2004 from Will County Sheriff's Department. Enjoyed fishing, cooking and spending time with his family but loved the special time he spent with his grandchildren, who were his pride and joy. Survived by his beloved wife of 51 years June (nee Ferro) Persicketti; Loving father of Robert Anthony (Annie) Persicketti, Mary Jo (Patrick) Breneman, Anthony John (Lisa) Persicketti and Matthew Joseph (April) Persicketti. Proud and devoted grandfather of Emily, Abigail and Elise Persicketti; Kelly and Adam Breneman; Jacob, Andrew and Allison Persicketti; Thomas, Bianca, Cecilia and Dino Persicketti; cherished "siblings", Diane (Fred) Hafner, Marcy (Don) Theobald and Janis (Nick) Cladis, Ned (Laura) Rocks, Bob (Tanya) Rocks, David Alberico, Jim (Bev) Alberico and Ron (Laurie) Alberico; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive. Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Pauline (nee Rock) Persicketti. Funeral Services for Robert Joseph Persicketti will be on Tuesday at 9:15 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Roads, Joliet, IL to the Church of St. Jude, 2212 McDonough Street, Joliet, IL 60436 for Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m. As it was Roberts wish cremation rites will follow the Mass. Private family inurnment Ss Cyril & Methodius Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name to Church of St. Jude Parish, Joliet, IL, Providence Catholic High School or the Joliet Community Area Hospice would be appreciated.
