Obituary of Sherrlyn Cook

Sherrlyn A. Cook (nee Lenox) Age 64. Passed away Monday, January 10, 2011 at her residence. Born in Texas, she was raised in Oklahoma and California, and was a resident of Joliet since 2002. Survived by her daughter, Shannon Lynn (Tony) Luzzi; "Nana" of Cameron Ryan Good and Courtney Rae Good; great-grandmother of Madison Riley Good; also survived by her mother, Anna Strom of California; two brothers, Dennis (Sherry) Lenox of Oklahoma and Michael (Debi) Sherman of Oregon; and several friends including, Mary and Tod May, and Pam and Troy Reeves. Preceded in death by her father, Albert Lenox; and one sister, Linda. She was employed by BP North America in Naperville for several years. She was an avid animal lover, and will be greatly missed by her cat, Tigger. All friends and relatives are invited to meet Thursday, January 13, 2011 at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until time of services at 7:00 p.m. Memorials in her name to the Will County Humane Society or Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.
