Obituary of Joyce Kinzler

Joyce M. Kinzler Age 80, of Plainfield, passed away Monday, April 18, 2016 at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home, surrounded by her loving family. Born June 1, 1935 in Joliet, she was the daughter of Louis and Sadie (Wynne) Kinzler. She was a member of St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church where she attended Mass daily, and was an active member of the Resurrection Choir. She was also a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, Plainfield. Joyce was a devoted wife of 50 years, and loving and caring mother, a cherished "Nana" to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, a dear sister, aunt and sister-in-law, and a loyal friend to many. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Vernon "Bob" Kinzler (May 27, 2004); her parents; and one sister, Joan (Francis) Jesonowski., Surviving are her children, Karen (the late Ken) Christian of Manhattan, IL, Michael (Deana) Kinzler and Ronald (Alicia) Kinzler, both of Joliet, and Donald (Sherry) Kinzler of Braidwood, IL; seven grandsons, Ryan (Christina) Svetlecich, Tyler Kinzler, Jordan Kinzler, Rogan (Mari) Nichols, Steff (Randi) Nichols, Blane (Amy) Nichols, and Dalton Kinzler; eight great-grandchildren, Logan, Lukas, Mason, Brynn, Kelsey, Destiny, Daniel and Brysen; two brothers, Gordon (Mary) Kinzler and Richard (Ann) Kinzler; a sister-in-law, Loraine (the late Rollie) Boughton; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Joyce M. Kinzler will be Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet, to St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, Plainfield, for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in St. Mary Immaculate Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to Joliet Area Community Hospice, St. Mary Immaculate Parish, or the Plainfield Moose Lodge would be appreciated.
