Darlene E. Roberts (nee Whitson) Age 86. At rest Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at Rosewood Care Center. Born in Aurora, IL the daughter of the late Homer and Rose (nee Heggland) Whitson. Residing in Joliet most of her life. formerly employed by Western Electric in Montgomery. Survived by her three children, Derk Roberts of Billings, MT, Donald (Maureen) Roberts of Joliet and Rob (Terri) Roberts of Rockdale; five grandchildren, Paul Carnahan, Megan (Adam) Terry, Monica (Tim) Jackson, Chris (Kelly) Roberts and Courtney (John) Prieboy; one step-grandson, Justin Balla; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Preceded by her husband, Donald Roberts, Sr. (1989); her daughter, Linda Jennings (2014); and her sister, Joy Heberlein (1986). Funeral Services for Darlene E. Roberts will be held Thursday, May 5, 2016 at 12 Noon at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
