Obituary of Joseph Wrona
Joseph John Wrona, Jr.
Age 62. Passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016 at his home. Born in Joliet on December 6, 1953 to the late Joseph and Dolores (nee Kezele) Wrona. A graduate of Minooka High School and attended Joliet Junior College. Joe worked as an operational manager for Schneider National for over 20 years, which relocated him and his family to Rochester, MN for eight years and then to Green Bay, WI in 1992. Joe moved back home to Channahon in 2000, where he resided until his passing.
Joe had a great love for music. He picked up the accordion at a young age and taught himself how to play. Joe and his father played in a polka band, where they performed at many weddings. Joe attended many concerts and carried his love for music till the day he died. He loved camping and especially fishing with his family. He also loved golfing and bowling with his friends and family. Joe, above all else, was a caring soul, who always put his family and friends before himself.
Survived by his wife, Ruth Wrona of Green Bay, WI; one son, Damon Wrona of St. Paul, MN; one daughter, Amber Wrona of Green Bay, WI; two granddaughters, Ellianah and Scarlett Seehawer, also of Green Bay, WI; and one sister, Barbara Cardwell of Scottsdale, AZ.
Preceded by his parents; two sisters, Kathleen and Paula Wrona; and brothers-in-law, Ken Cardwell, David Westhoff, Mike Resch and Kirby Corzan.

A Memorial Service for Joseph John Wrona, Jr. will be held Thursday, May 5, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. Fr. James Lennon officiating.
