Obituary of Mercedez Jaramillo

Mercedez C. Jaramillo Age 101. Peacefully Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Manta, Ecuador and living in Plainfield, IL the past five years, where she enjoyed planting, cooking and taking care of her family. Survived by two daughters, Maria (Javier) Velez and Carmen Dolores (Julio) Medina; nine grandchildren, Oswaldo (Juliet) Cruz, Sandra (Arturo) Camargo, Juan Carlos Barcia, Pamela (Michael) Kleppinger, Teddy Barcia, Sonia (Rhenso) Hernandez, Dinette (Hector Torres) Medina, Robert Lusquinos and Daniel Lusquinos; 18 great-grandchildren, Arturo Jr., Rebecca and Andrew Camargo, Margo and Rebecca Cruz, Heather and Amanda Barcia, John B., Tyler and Ayleen Barcia, Olivia and Sofia Hernandez, Johan Torres and Danny, Carly and Thomas Lusquinos, Michael and Leyla Kleppinger; one sister, Juanita Jaramillo; and beloved friends and caretakers, Olga Martin, Maria Delgado and Rosario Erazo. Funeral Services for Mercedez C. Jaramillo will be held Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. Interment will be held privately.
