Carl, you will always be in our memory. We will remember all the times together traveling and in Alaska. So glad you came to Bob's retirement so long ago. All your kindnesses to us will remain in our hearts. Our time together this winter in Texas was a blessing.

For nearly 40 years Dad Bush touched my life, actually the Bush family with love, kindness and acceptence. It was the beginning of my Freshman year of high school when I met Sally & Dan. Shortly there after I met their family. As I became a regular at the Bush home I was referred to as the adopted daughter and then their other daughter. I am blessed and richer for the time shared with Dad. I am grateful that he loved me for who I am. I will miss the countless stories, his sense of humor and time spent together.
There were countless meals too and some of my favorites time where when I would spend the night. Mom and Dad would let us know they were heading out for breakfast in 10 minutes. The promise of a meal was motivation to jump out of bed and get ready in under 10 minutes. Hence the nickname lightning and my best friend and sidekick Sally, Molasses.
Thank you Dad for loving me well and with kindness. You will be missed and I am grateful for the many years of knowing and loving you!
Love your other daughter,
Lori

We are sad that Carl Bush has suddenly passed away. He was a regular at our restaurant (The Shrimp Barn) and we considered him a friend. He always worried about us and was happy for us when he saw we were busy. We loved hearing his stories each time he came in. His wife Barbara is super sweet too. May God bless her and give her strength to say goodbye to her husband until they meet again.
