We built our home across the street from Harrington's in 1969. Margaret and Harry were our wonderful neighbors for 47 years! In all that time, I don't believe there was ever an unkind word spoken! Our children were allowed to pick cherries from their tree when Harry said they were ready....before the birds could get them! Margaret helped our boys fold their papers at the Herald so they could get their route finished more quickly. Bob and Harry would talk about yard work; their yard always immaculate and perfectly manicured! Margaret and I would visit about our kids and the grandkids, whom she loved so dearly. And we would trade recipes.
God blessed us with amazing neighbors and they will be sorely missed. Becky, Harry and Doug, know that you have our sympathy. Hard as it is for you and your families now, we are confident that your parents are happily together again, and for that we should all be grateful.
