Obituary of Jeanne McCauley

Jeanne P. McCauley "Penny" (nee Smith) Age 74. Passed away peacefully Friday, May 20, 2016 at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home with her family by her side. Born November 14, 1941 in Joliet, and lifelong resident. Former co-owner with her husband of B and B Tap, Rockdale. Part-time employee of Ruby's Lounge and Victory Beauty systems. Member of the Ladies of the Moose Lodge #300 and the Eagles Club. Surviving are her daughter, Linda (Ken) Zabel of Joliet; three grandchildren, Kenny and Bobby Zabel and Jeffrey Weller; two sisters, Kathleen (late William) Ferguson and Patricia Sexton; one brother, William (Lois) Smith of Joliet; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded by her husband, Robert J. McCauley (1994); her son, Mike McCauley (1990); and her parents, William and Helen (nee Benedict) Smith. Funeral Services for Penny McCauley will be held Monday, May 23, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. Private interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
