Obituary of Josephine Costello

Costello, Josephine Irene "Sonie" (nee Besse) Age 85. Passed away peacefully at her residence with her family by her side on Friday, November 26, 2010. Born July 6, 1925 in Ottawa, IL to the late John and Christina (Brett) Besse. Married Joseph Costello on January 26, 1944, he preceded her in death on January 27, 1999. Josephine was a homemaker and enjoyed caring for her family. Survived by her five children, Barbara Camp of Joliet; Gayle (Lawrence) Ficek of Pierz, MN, Carol (John) Santorineos of Streator, IL, Joseph M. (Catherine) Costello of Godley, IL and Ann (David) Buldak of New Lenox; 16 grandchildren, James (Michele) Camp, Kimberly and Lawrence (Mindy) Ficek, Jody (Robert Ogle), Peter (Dawn), Nicole, and Mitchell Santorineos, Cassandra (Michael) West, Jenni (Jamie) Longo, Samantha and Nathan Costello, Kevin (Ashley Knight), Allison, Meredith, and Paul Buldak; 12 great-grandchildren, James, Anthony, Michael, Alexandra, Robbie, Courtney, Helena, Alea, Cailyn, Conner, Ayden, and Katherine; one sister, and numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Also preceded in death by five sisters, two brothers, and one granddaughter. Funeral Services for Josephine I. Costello will be Monday, November 29, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Mary's Catholic Church in Minooka for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
