Obituary of Audrey L. Zupancic

Audrey L. Zupancic (nee Grossklaus) Age 89, of Rockdale, passed away Thursday, August 4, 2016 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center. Born January 14, 1927 in Joliet, she was the daughter of William and Matilda (Kambic) Grossklaus. Audrey was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother She enjoyed shopping, watching cooking shows, game shows and football, especially the San Francisco 49ers. Surviving are her children, Rhonda (Charles) Raysel of Joliet, Cheryl Zupancic of Rockdale, William Zupancic and Robert (Kathy) Zupancic, both of Joliet; four grandchildren, Nathaniel Zupancic, Chuck "Poke" Raysel, Stacie (Mike) Knowles and Robert Zupancic; two great-grandchildren, Mikey and Kolton Knowles; numerous nieces and nephews; and her baby, Taffy. Preceded by her beloved husband of 64 years, Joseph A. Zupancic (2015); her parents; two sisters, Anna Mae (Jewel) Holmes and Connie (Edward) Gutnik; and one brother, Edward (Jean) Grossklaus. Funeral Services for Audrey L. Zupancic will be held Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet.
