Obituary of Erin Renee Buck

Erin Renee Buck Age 33, of Joliet, IL, passed away suddenly on Saturday, August 13, 2016. Erin was born February 20, 1983 in Cedar Rapids, IA. She attended elementary and junior high school in Marion, IA, graduated from Anamosa High School in 2001 and earned a bachelor's degree from Iowa State University in 2006. Erin was full of life and loved by her family, friends, and coworkers. She enjoyed animals of all kind, playing volleyball as a teenager, and showing championship livestock at county and state fairs. She enjoyed her short professional career in customer service and as a delivery coordinator at Menard's. Erin is survived by her mother, Pamela "Jordan" Des Chatelets of Joliet, IL; her sister Stacey (Justin) Hunter of Lisbon, IA; aunt of Emersyn and Jackson; her father, Michael (Connie) Buck of Anamosa, IA; her siblings. Evan Buck, Lauren (Tyler) Thoms, and Justin Buck; her grandparents are Roland and Cindy Buck of Clarence, IA, and Ken and Shirl Dircks of Lowden, IA. Erin will also be missed greatly by her aunts, uncles and cousins Steve (Megan), Jaime, Ryan, Kelsey, Megan and Thomas. She was preceded in death by her grandma, Joanne Buck and her aunt, Cindy (Buck) Milligan. A Memorial Gathering for Erin will be held Friday, August 19, 2016 from 3-8pm at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Roads, Joliet, IL. A celebration of life will also be held on Sunday, August 21st at 4:00 p.m. at St. John's United Church of Christ, 320 9th Ave, Clarence, IA 52216 with a visitation preceding the celebration from 2:00 p.m. till the time of service. As it was Erin's wish, cremation rites have been accorded. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family in Erin's memory are appreciated. Information 815-741-5500
