Obituary of Todd Russell Vanderhyden

Age 38. Passed away suddenly on Sunday, September 4, 2016. Born in Joliet March 31, 1978. Attended Lincolnway Central High School and graduated from Joliet Central High School with the Class of 1996. Employed by Mariano's in Shorewood. Survived by his wife, Becky (nee Gimble) Vanderhyden; his children Grace, Nora and Nathan Vanderhyden all of Joliet; his mother Mary (Ken) Sohr of Joliet; step mother, Penny Vanderhyden of Elwood; three brothers, Ryan and Marc Vanderhyden both of Manhattan and Adam Sohr of Joliet; son-in-law of John and Lucy Gimble of Elwood; brother-in-law of Jessie (Ryan) Nugent, Elizabeth Glascock, John (Caroline) Gimble Jr and Derek (Sonja) Glascock; uncle of Peyton, Isabel, Jack and Hadley; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceded by his father, Richard "Rick" Vanderhyden Jr. (2012); his maternal and paternal grandparents. As it was Todd's request cremation rites have been accorded. Memorial services for Todd Russell Vanderhyden will by Thursday, September 8, 2016, 7:30 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home 3200 Black (at Essington) Rds. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name to the Go Fund Me Page for Todd Vanderhyden for the children's education fund.
