Obituary of Claudia A. Krause

Claudia A. Krause (nee Campbell) Age 66, peacefully at rest on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born June 23, 1950 in Chicago to Denis John III and Gladys (nee Marks) Campbell. Retired in 2013 from Channahon School District #17 with 24 years of service as a music teacher. She was an active member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Minooka. Claudia spent her life teaching and performing music, and passed this love on to her children who will continue her legacy. She enjoyed attending her children's concerts, spending time with her brothers, sisters, nieces & nephews and more than anything loved being a mother & Grammy. Survived by her children, Katherine (Jeffery) Ross, Kent (Christa) Krause, and Kassandra Krause; grandchildren, Isaac Ross, Thomas Krause, Jonathan Krause; siblings, Christopher (James) McHugh, Cheryl Campbell, Cynthia Campbell, Denis (Debra) Campbell; brother-in-law, Kenneth Maltas and many nieces and nephews. Preceded by her parents and sister, Courtney Maltas. Funeral services for Claudia A. Krause will be Tuesday, September 13, 2016, at 9:00 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Roads, Joliet, to St. Mary's Catholic Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, IL.
