Cremeens, Timothy John
Tim Cremeens, the most kind, generous, humorous, and handsome man, passed away peacefully amid stories, laughter, tears, prayers and love with his family and friends at his side on Thursday, December 15, 2011. Born May 25, 1958 in Joliet, he was the son of Clarence E. Cremeens and Helen L. (Carey) Cremeens.
Survived by his mother, Helen Cremeens; brothers, Michael (Ann) Cremeens, James (Judy) Cremeens, and Richard Cremeens; sisters, Mary Ann (Marty) Mudron, Maureen Himmelman, and Katherine Johnson; his best friend Kenneth Von Heidecke; and many favorite nieces and nephews.
Welcomed to Glory by father Clarence Cremeens and brother Thomas Cremeens.
A graduate of Joliet Catholic High School (1976) and Western Michigan University (1981), he was Business Manager for the internationally renowned Von Heidecke Chicago Festival Ballet. Performers, students and parents of the Ballet gave him great joy. He also had a passion for travel, and had traveled the world.
Funeral Services for Timothy John Cremeens will be Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Wilmington. Memorials in his name may be made to the Timothy Cremeens Memorial Scholarship Fund for the Von Heidecke Chicago Festival Ballet. Visitation Monday 4-8 p.m. at:
