Charles B. Matlow
"Chuck"
Age 69. Peacefully Sunday, September 11, 2016 at the Illinois Veterans Home in Manteno, IL. Born in Chicago and a life long Chicago area resident. A U.S. Army Korean War Veteran. Retired from Certified Groceries after over 25 years of service.
Preceded by his parents, Valentine and Elizabeth Matlow.
Survived by one daughter, Elizabeth (the late Tim) Scott of Mason, MI; two step daughters, Valory (Dante) Pieri of Chicago, IL and Mary (Christopher) Zivalich of Shorewood, IL; three grandchildren; two sisters, Margaret Elliott and Valerie Peterson; one brother, Richard Matlow; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Funeral service for Charles B. Matlow will be Friday, September 16, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Road, Joliet, IL 60431. Interment at St. Casimir Cemetery, Chicago.
