Obituary of Sylvia D. Braun

Sylvia D. Braun (nee Kozak) Age 81, of Plainfield, IL and formerly of Chicago's Brighton Park neighborhood, passed Wednesday October 12, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Henry Braun; loving mother of Donna (Kenneth) Mazurek, Robert (Judy) Braun, and Mark Braun. Proud grandmother of the late Christopher Mazurek, Philip (Christie) Mazurek; Bob Braun Jr, David Braun, Dana (Brad) Pich; Jennifer Braun and Rachel Braun; great-grandmother of Bradley Jr. and Abby Pich. Several other relatives also survive. In addition to her husband and grandson, she is also preceded in death by her sister Ann. Visitation Sunday, October 16, 2016, 2-7 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd.) Joliet. Funeral Monday 10:00 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, Plainfield, Mass 11:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice.
