Obituary of Marcia A. Clay

Marcia A. Clay (nee Lehman) Age 68, of Joliet, IL and formerly of Dolton, IL, passed peacefully, Wednesday November 2, 2016 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home. She was born September 13, 1948 to the late Naomi and Joseph Lehman in Chicago, IL where she was raised and educated, a graduate of Harper High School. She married William Clay on September 30, 1967 and shared 43 wonderful years together until Bill passed in 2010. Marcy was a retired administrative assistant who enjoyed sewing, gardening and listening to the "oldies". She, along with her surviving daughter Deana Marie have always cared for animals in addition to having several similar traits and interests. Also surviving are several relatives and friends. All friends and relatives are invited to attend a memorial mass at the Church of St. Jude, 2204 McDonough St., Joliet, IL, Saturday November 19, 2016 at 10:00a.m. Cremation rites have been accorded.
