Obituary of Elsie A. Cemeno

Elsie A. Cemeno (nee Quattrocki) Age 93, suddenly at rest Sunday, November 13, 2016 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center. Born August 13, 1923 in Chicago to Joseph and Ann (nee Cosentino) Quattrocki. Elsie was an opera singer and loved to study music. She received her Bachelor's Degree from St. Vincent College " DePaul University". Survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Fred S. Cemeno; her children, Ann (Bill) Tortorello, Mary Fran (Lenny) Traficanto, Josephine (Pete) Spoto, Liz (Ami) Youhana, Nancy Bottino, and Carol (Pat) Leahy; 16 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her first husband, August Passi (1966); one daughter, Nancy Prather; one brother, Salvatore "Tooty" Quattrocki and a son-in-law, Dale Bottino. Funeral Services for Elsie A. Cemeno will be held on Friday, November 18, 2016, 9:15 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Roads, Joliet, IL to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church for Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Entombment Resurrection Mausoleum.
