Obituary of Peggy Ann Spinner

Peggy Ann Spinner (nee Helms) Age 75, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at Parker Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Streator, IL. She simply went to sleep that night and woke up in the presence of the Lord. Born in Peoria, Oklahoma and raised in Baxter Springs, Kansas, and a long time Joliet area resident before relocating to Marseilles in 2005. Preceded by her mother and father, Mylas and Nellie (nee Letsinger) Helms; four brothers, Jackie, Tommy, Reginald and Donnie Helms; two sisters, Betty in infancy and Clara Wilson. Survived by four sisters, Mary (Elbert) Smith of Seneca, Dorla Lentz of Omaha, IL, Sandy (the late William) Graves of Omaha, IL and Susie (the late Walt) Grimes of Minooka. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Funeral services for Peggy Ann Spinner will be Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 1 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home Chapel located at 1201 W. U. S. Route 6, Morris, IL 60450. As it was Peggy's request, cremation rites will be accorded following her funeral services. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Will County Humane Society in her name would be appreciated.
