Obituary of Florence J. Tonelli

Florence J. Tonelli (nee Lis) Passed away peacefully on December 02, 2016 at Park Pointe Healthcare in Morris, IL. Formerly of Heritage Woods of Dwight, IL. Born in Chicago and a Joliet area resident most of her life. Former owner/operator of Corrigan Clover Farm until retiring in 1971. Also employed by Rustcraft Greetings for four years. A member of the Council of Catholic Women of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church. Preceded by her first husband, Patrick B. Corrigan (1956); her second husband, George A. Tonelli (2006); her daughter, Karen A. Marquez (1994); parents, Charles and JoAnn (Jendersak) Lis; and three sisters, Jeanette Tonelli (1963), Adeline Petty (1993) and Irene Sak (2004). Survived by her daughter, Patricia (Terry) Peeples of Morris: five grandchildren, Terry (Holly), Randy (Sandi) and Lori Peeples and Michele (Todd) Williamson and Megan (Juan) Duarte; 4 step-children, Georgene (the late Dale) Herbst, Darlene Tonelli, Dennis (the late Geraldine) Tonelli and Gay Lynn Tonelli; 7 step-grandchildren, Rodney Tonelli and Rhonda (David) Miserendino, David (Natalie) and Michael Herbst, Matthew (Jenny), Thom, Nathaniel and Amelia Tonelli; 6 great grandchildren, Rebecca and Delaney Peeples, Kyle and Sean Williamson and Mariah and Christian Duarte; son-in-law Mike (Connie) Marquez; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services for Florence J. Tonelli will be held on Monday, December 5, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet to St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Memorials in her name to Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.
