Ralph J. Massett Age 69. At rest on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at home. Born in Chicago and a Grundy County area resident since 1980. He was a member of the IBEW Local #134 and a retired electrician of 40 years. Loving husband of Susan Massett; beloved father of Monica Johnson, Michelle Mueller, Ralph (fiancé Melissa Butler) Massett and Mallory Pruitt; devoted grandfather of eight; dear brother of Ida "Snookers" Pogue-Smith, Claude (Joyce) Massett, Judy Paul, Maryann Kincaid and Michelle (Rick) Flory. Visitation for family and close friends will be held on Friday, December 16, 2016 at the Fred C Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essignton Rds., Joliet from 5-7 p.m. with a closing prayer at 7:00 p.m. As it was his request, cremation rites will follow.
