Patrick Anthony Ponzevic, age 73 of Plainfield, IL at rest Wednesday, December 28, 2016. Born July 21, 1943 in Chicago, IL the loving son of the late Benjamin and Florence Ponzevic. Beloved husband of 42 years to the late Janet. Loving father of Michael (Donna) Koga and John (Laura) Koga. Cherished grandfather of Ashley and Tony Koga, Robert (Liz), Louis (Jessica) Filipow, Nick DeZee, great grandfather to Jayce and Bella. Dear brother of the late Kathleen Ponzevic, brother-in-law of Gene (the late Linda) McGovern. Fond uncle of Kevin (Debbie) McGovern, Chris (Mike) Hallstom, Keith McGovern, Kim (Frank) Gargano and Robert Ponzevic. Fond great-uncle and dear friend of many. Patrick will be remembered most for his wonderful sense of humor and putting smiles on everyone he touched. Visitation Tuesday January 3, 2017 from 3:00 - 9:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 8 pm at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. Interment will be private.
