Obituary of Joseph Michael Pesack
Joseph M. Pesack
Age 77, of Big Sandy, TN, and formerly of Joliet, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2016 in Tennessee.
Affectionately known as "G-Pa", "Papa Joe" and "Mr. P", he will be remembered as a loving husband, dad and grandpa.
Joe was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, and was the former owner of Mr. P's Tavern in Joliet. He later was a driver for Teamster's Local #179.
Surviving are his three sons, David (Rosemary) Lynch of Tennessee, Scott Pesack of California, and Jeff (Priscilla) Pesack of California; one daughter, Marlene (Christopher) McDaniel of Reddick; six grandchildren, Dennis, Danielle, Ashley, Brody, Paige and Kaylee; one brother, Robert (Ruth) Pesack; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis (1994); one son, Joseph II (2015); his parents; one brother, John; and one sister, Cathy.
Graveside services for Joseph Pesack will be held Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood. Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 3, 2017 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Roads, Joliet.
