Obituary of Richard Lee Johnson
Richard Lee "Richie" Johnson
Age 27. Passed away suddenly on February 2, 2017. Born and raised in Joliet, IL on November 4, 1989 to Richard L. and Susan (nee Johnson) Johnson. Richie was employed with Auto Medics and formerly employed at RR Donnelly. He had many passions in life, including auto mechanics, fish tank aquatics, but most importantly he loved spending time with his son.
Preceded by his maternal grandfather, Darrell Johnson and his paternal grandparents, Richard and Arlene Johnson.
Survived by his parents; son, Landon Johnson; half brother , Brian Tezak; grandparents, Jack and Susan Jacobs; great grandmother, Hattie Johnson; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial gathering will be held from 6-8 pm on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Roads, Joliet, IL A Memorial Service at 7:30 p.m. with Rev. Dale Steenhoven, officiating. Cremation rites have been accorded. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family to be used for Landon's education would be appreciated.
