Obituary of Gregory M. Minarich

Gregory M. Minarich Age 59. At rest Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center. Born in Chicago, the son of the late William and Michelyn (Boucher) Minarich, residing in Joliet most of his life. Graduate of Joliet Catholic High School (JCA) and attended Regis University in Denver, CO and Chicago Academy for the Arts. Owner/operator of Gregsigns of Joliet since 1985. Greg was an outdoors man, he loved hunting, fishing, camping and canoeing. He thoroughly enjoyed his outdoor wilderness trips. Greg was a very creative artist who's work was well accomplished. An avid snow skier. Survived by his loving wife Marsha (Prybysz) Minarich of Joliet; his daughter, Elizabeth Minarich of Joliet; his stepson, John (Lisa) Davis of University City, MO; grandson, Jake Davis; brother, William (Mary) Minarich of Plainfield; sister, Mary "Mimi" (Tom) Sprague of Naperville; his "beautiful" dog, Precious; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded by his parents and one sister, Nancy Minarich (1975) . Funeral Services for Greg Minarich will be Wednesday, February 8, 2017, 9:15 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Roads, Joliet, IL to St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Private Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
