Obituary of Frank J. Govednik II

Frank J. Govednik II Age 91, of Agoura Hills, CA since 1977, and formerly of Joliet, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2017 in California. Survived by his two sons, Frank J. Govednik III and Gary (Gayle) Govednik; one daughter, Carolyn (Lloyd) Toledo; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one brother, Al (Marion) Govednik; one sister, Alice (Richard) Brandolino; and a sister-in-law, Evelyn Hile. Preceded by his beloved wife, Vivian (nee Zobel) Govednik (2009); his parents, Frank and Anna Govednik; one brother, Lenard Govednik; and a sister-in-law, Lorraine Kolenc. Frank was employed with United Air Lines for 44 years, and was a WWII U.S. Navy Veteran. Funeral Services for Frank Govednik II will be held on Friday, March 03, 2017 at 9:15 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet, IL to St. Joseph Catholic Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
