Obituary of Theodore Louis Contos

Theodore Louis Contos "Ted" Age 58, of Morris, IL., died Tuesday February 28, 2017 at the Morris Hospital. He was born February 15, 1959 to the late Lois (nee Sanders) and Louis Contos in Joliet, IL where he was raised and educated, a graduate of Joliet Township High School, East Campus. He is survived by his sister, Kathleen "Kathy" (DeWitt "Dewey") Becker of Michigan; brother, Peter Contos of Texas and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Ted was formerly employed at Consumers Hardware in Manhattan, IL and previously at the Sugar Creek Pharmacy in Joliet. He was an avid sports fan. Ted enjoyed reminiscing about his upbringing in Joliet's Sugar Creek neighborhood and was looking forward to his 40th high school reunion later this year. As it was Ted's wish, cremation rites have been accorded and services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name can be made to the American Diabetes Association or in honor of Ted's kind spirit, consider bestowing a friend or perhaps a stranger with a random act of kindness.
