Geraldine K. Post Passed away peacefully at her home Friday, March 3, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Survived by her 4 children, Sheryl (Keith) Morton, Kim (Ron) Seyforth, Jill (Chuck) Rachke and Kurt (Marylou) Post; Nana of 9, Daniel, Tim, Brian, Emily, Rebecca, Amanda, Matthew, Tyler and Marissa; Great Nana of 1, Callista; and her canine companion, Maggie. Preceded by her beloved husband, Stanley Post (2004); her parents; and her siblings, Bernadine Czarniski, Frank Retzke, Raymond Retzke, George Retzke and Richard Retzke. A special thank you to her devoted care givers, Elena and Alging. Funeral Services for Geraldine K. Post will be held on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at 9:15 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black (at Essington) Rd, Joliet, IL to Holy Family Catholic Church, 600 N. Brookforest Drive, Shorewood, IL where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery 12:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to The Alzheimer's Foundation or Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.
