Obituary of Pauline M. Rogan

Pauline M. Rogan (nee Wedic) Age 86. At rest Monday, March 13, 2017 at her son's home surrounded by her loving family. Born on December 19, 1930 in Joliet, IL to the late Joseph and Mary Ann (Zema) Wedic. Pauline enjoyed her day trips to the casino. Survived by her children, James (Deborah) Rogan, John Jr. (Lynn) Rogan and Patricia (Roger) Hiller; five grandchildren, Scott (Karen) Rogan, John III (Andy) Rogan, Sarah Rogan, Michele Dolbee and Jason (Lori) Rogan; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Joseph Wedic; sister, Judith Hamilton; Karen (Mike) Foster who was like her guardian angel and a daughter to her; many nieces and nephews; and her loving friends and neighbors especially Jerry and Virginia Wirkus. Preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, John J. Rogan, Sr. (2015); her parents; sister, JoAnn Speaker; and brother-in-law, Joseph Speaker. A Memorial Gathering for Pauline Rogan will be held on Friday, March 17, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until time of prayers at 11:15 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet, IL to St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, 15629 S. Rte. 59, Plainfield, IL where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 NOON. Inurnment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery will be private.
