Ronald D. Warner
At rest Sunday, March 19, 2017 at the Symphony of Joliet. Born February 18, 1939 in Chicago, the son of the late Edward and Isabell (Wilbur) Warner. A resident of Plainfield the past 30 years. Retired from Sears Roebuck and Co. An accomplished woodworker and proprietor of RDW woodworking.
Survived by his loving partner of 25 years, Sharon Spires of Plainfield; two children, Michael (Cheryl) Warner of Mt. Zion, IL and Deborah (Aaron) Rapier of Plainfield; four step children, Michael (Margit) Spires of Wheaton, Kevin (MaryAnn) Spires of Houston, TX, Anne Spires of Madison, WI and Meg Spires of West Chicago; 14 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded by his brothers, Edward and William Warner.
As it was Ron's request, cremation rites have been accorded. The family would like to invite all friends and relatives to a Celebration of Life party to be held in July. Invitations will be issued.
