Obituary of Joseph Michael Miernicki

Joseph Miernicki Age 16, of Plainfield, born into eternal life, Wednesday, March 22, 2017. Born November 30, 2000 in Joliet, he was the son of William C. and Lena M. (nee Hooker) Miernicki. He attended Plainfield South High School and Seal South High School. Joseph was a loving son, brother, grandson, great-grandson, nephew and cousin who will be dearly missed. Surviving are his parents, Lena and Christopher Schmidt of Plainfield; brother, Daniel J. Miernicki; grandparents, Gary and the late Nancy Hooker, William M. and the late Sandra Miernicki, Patricia Francq, and Bernie and Jeanne Schmidt; great grandparents, Bonnie and the late Eldon Hooker, and the late Dorothy and Edward Lense; an uncle who was like a brother, Jeff Laucus; and many more aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation for Joseph Miernicki will be held Saturday, March 25, 2017 from 12:00 Noon to 4:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Roads, Joliet. A Service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Cremation Rites will be accorded following services and interment will be private.
