Obituary of James P. Condos, Jr.

James P. Condos, Jr. Age 66, of Rockdale, passed away peacefully, Thursday, March 30, 2017 at home with his loving family by his side. Born January 3, 1951 in Chicago, he was the only child of James P. and Margaret “Peg” (nee Tobin) Condos, Sr. He retired from Jewel Corporation and also enjoyed working for Home Depot. Jimmy was a loving husband, a devoted father, and a dear grandfather. He will be sadly missed by his family and his many friends. Surviving are his wife, Laurette S. (nee Morello) Condos; two sons, James N. (Dawn) Condos and Michael F. (Maryann) Condos, both of Romeoville; five grandchildren, Zachary, Jamie, Jack, Chelsea and Jodi; and his faithful canine companion, Peanut. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Louise (nee Trovato) Condos, in 2007, and his parents. Cremation rites have been accorded and a memorial gathering and service will be held at a future date.
