Some of my earliest memories as a little girl are at my Grandma Jo's with the Peterson ladies. Tea and laughter. Kay had a way of making me feel so important and interesting then. I thought of her as cultured, before I knew what that meant. I loved her round voice and the way she articulated her words. She exuded sophistication and grace. What a blessing it was to know her. She and the Peterson ladies will always hold a special place in my memory and heart. So very sorry for your loss, Joann and family.

Mike, my deepest sympathies to you and your family. It is never easy to loose someone, especially a mother. May all the memories you have of her fill you with peace during this mourning process. One day may you smile again knowing she is still with you. Your mother and grandmother were our extended family for many years. They were wonderful examples for you and everyone they touched. Many hugs and prayers!!

I am so deeply saddened to hear of Kay's passing. We graduated from high school together. As we begin to plan for our upcoming 55th class reunion, Kay's name came up as someone we couldn't wait to see again. She was so nice to each of her classmates and so much fun to be around. A very special lady. God bless her and God give you peace. We will all miss you, Kay!

My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this very sad time. The world has truly lost someone so special. Kay was one in a million always caring about somebody else, always loving someone else. She was selfless. I am so happy that I knew her. She truly made my life so much brighter. I will never forget the long talks that we would have and how special she always made me feel. May God bless and give Comfort to everyone who is left to figure out how life will be without her
