Obituary of Joseph J. Lopez

**Photo** Joseph J. Lopez "Joe" Age 74. At rest Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Silver Cross Hospital. Born in Joliet, the son of the late Remedios and Vicenta (nee Orozco) Lopez. A lifelong area resident. Joe was a knight at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, President of Joliet Bow Hunters, President of Aurora Land Archery. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Anna Mae (nee Dragovan) Lopez of Joliet; two sisters, Mary and Josephing Lopez of Plainfield, numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded by his three sisters, Pauline Lopez, Angeline Orozco and Valentina Zama; two brothers, Martin and Jesse Lopez. Funeral services for Joseph J. Lopez will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church 2500 Arbeiter Road, Plainfield where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment St. Mary Immaculate Cemetery.
