Obituary of Steven J. Craig

Steven J. Craig Age 59, of Shorewood, passed away suddenly, Sunday, April 9, 2017 at home. Steven was born June 13, 1957 in Salem, OR, and was a proud veteran of the United states Air Force. He worked as a systems Administrator for Kemper Corporation where he made many lifelong friends that were more like family to him. Steve was an avid golfer and his favorite teams were the San Francisco 49ers and the Oregon Ducks. Surviving are his beloved wife, JoAnn L. (Squyres) Craig; two daughters, Tabitha David and Suzanne Gesmundo; six grandchildren including the love of his life, Brianna Kaufman; a sister-in-law, Jane Versprill; and his late parents, Jack Wilford and Pearl Ann (Wattier) Craig. A Memorial Gathering to celebrate Steven's life will be held Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at 405 Stanford Drive, Shorewood. Cremation rites have been accorded. In lieu of flowers, memorials to an education fund for his granddaughter, Brianna, would be appreciated.
