It is with a sad heart that I read of the death of Norm. How well I remember Kurt's skill on the baseball field, and Norm and Kay in the stands, cheering him on. But what Gordie would say, and did say, "Norm is a fine man, a gentleman, and good friend". I send my sincere love and prayers to your family, Kurt, I pray that the Lord will bear you up and comfort you with His abiding love.

Kay and family. Your husband and father was one of the best. He was fair and firm, and I hope a role model for other teachers. I had him for baseball and government and learned he was always there when you needed him. He will be missed by all. I am from the 1962 class. Our class, and I personally was honored to make him an "honorary alumni" of our class at are 50th reunion.

I was saddened to hear of the passing of "Mr Miller". He was instrumental in shaping my life, when I was a student at MCHS. We were very fortunate to have teachers like him at Minooka. He gave me an appreciation for history and US government, as he taught us with enthusiasm and conviction. I live in South Carolina now but I was always able to make our high school reunions, during which I had a chance to reminisce with him. He was a great teacher, a great person, and a wonderful man! Will miss him. God bless his memory
and his family.

It is impossible to even guess how many lives "Mr. Miller" (later to be known as Norm) touched, but I know mine was one of them. I always considered him my favorite teacher, why, I do not know. Maybe it was from the baseball coaching.or maybe it was because Minooka was his first teaching job, and there really was only is 6 years difference in our ages. But the reason does not matter. He was loved by all. My sincerest sympathy and deepest condolences to Kay and the rest of the Miller family. We lost a good one.

Uncle Norm was a wonderful man. He was always smiling and fun to be around.
As a kid I thought that he was a famous baseball player. Imagine how awestruck we Remus kids would be when we saw uncle Norm. Our dad was always telling us what a good ball player Norm was.
He will surely be missed by many. We offer sincere condolences.
Love,
Kathy and Jim
