Obituary of Thomas J. Adamski

Thomas J. Adamski Age 61, of Plainfield, passed away suddenly, Sunday, April 16, 2017 at home. Born August 10, 1955 in Chicago, to Chester and Eleanor (Nowaczyk) Adamski, he was a graduate of Maine South High School. He worked for the United States Postal Service for 37 years, retiring in 2008. Tom will be remembered for being a good husband and being very supportive of his family. He enjoyed playing golf, poker, and going bowling. Surviving are his beloved wife, Katherine (Anaya) Adamski; two devoted sons, Ryan Adamski and Miles Adamski, both of Plainfield; two loving sisters, Diane (Don) Booth and Barbara Adamski; and two dear nieces, Jessica (Dylan) Haney and Valerie Barron. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, David Adamski. Visitation for Thomas Adamski will be held Friday, April 21, 2017 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Roads, Joliet. Cremation rites will be accorded following the visitation and interment will be private.
