Beverly Jane Moretti
(nee Williams)
Age 90, a long time resident of Crest Hill, passed away peacefully, Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Sunny Hill Nursing Home.
Born February 21, 1927 in Joliet, she was a graduate of Joliet Township High School.
Beverly loved to cook, work crossword puzzles and play card games. She will be remembered for the many afghans she crocheted for her family. She was also a devoted life long Cubs fan.
Surviving are her children, Georgia (James) Ellars of Indianapolis, IN, Thomas (Sandy) Moretti of Joliet, David Moretti of Lisle, and Alan (Marie) Moretti of Shorewood; seven grandchildren, Jennifer (Tony) Capps, Kristin Eneix, Tommy (Amanda) Moretti, Stephanie (Robert) Behling, Dominic Moretti, Nicholas Moretti and Alexander Moretti; three great-granddaughters, Jessica Capps, Claire Moretti and Nora Moretti; two sisters, Catherine (late Darrell) Langlois and Josephine (Ray) Gast; two brothers, Melvin (Kathy) Williams and George (Joleen) Williams, Jr.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 61 years, Thomas L. Moretti (October 17, 2007); her parents, George and Margaret (Campo) Williams; and two brothers, Robert and Francis Williams.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Timbers of Shorewood, especially Sharon, Faith, Sheila and Terri; everyone at Sunnyhill Nursing Home and Joliet Area Community Hospice; her faithful physician, Dr. Sergei Kravits; and Ellen with Presence Home Health. They could not be more grateful for everyone's care and professionalism.
Funeral Services for Beverly J. Moretti will be Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 9:45 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet, to St. Ambrose Church, Crest Hill, for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Memorials in her name to Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated. Visitation will be held Wednesday, from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
