Robert Davila
"TANK"
Age 40. Suddenly passed away Friday, August 28, 2009 at Silver Cross Hospital. Born in Joliet and a lifelong Joliet area resident. A graduate of Gompers Junior High School and Joliet Central High School. Retired from R&R Brinks Company in Shorewood after many years of service.
Survived by two sons, Justin and Jason Davila; three grandchildren, Emsi, Aaliyah and Navanna; his mother, Rebecca (nee Barbosa) Davila; and two brothers, David (Barbara) and Pete Davila, all of Joliet. Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Preceded in death by his father, David A. Davila (2007).
Funeral services for Robert Davila will be Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to St. Bernard Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday from 2-9 p.m. at:
