Ashley Ann Carter

Age 28, of Plainfield, IL,  died suddenly, Wednesday May 10, 2017.  She was born April 5, 1989 in Hinsdale, IL to Tricia Ann (nee Smith) and Glenn Carter.  She was raised in Bolingbrook, IL a graduate with the class of 2007 from Bolingbrook High School.

Beloved daughter of Tricia and Glenn; loving sister of Brittany and Ryan, and a loving friend to all she came to know.

Preceded in death by her grandparents, including her paternal grandma, Lois Carter with whom Ashley was very close.

A music lover, Ashley could be found karaoking "White Rabbit" by Jefferson Airplane with passion and precision among other favorites.  She possessed a good, or perhaps goofy sense of humor with a unique, robust laugh that was always memorable and could make anyone smile. Ashley. A swimmer, a movie buff, thrill seeker, sometimes outspoken and trusted friend, she had a big heart, always encouraging and putting others first.

Her loss has left us with questions and pain, however, knowing who she really was (and is), will allow us to continue on in life, knowing her spirit will be with us forever.
